Meet the Team

Charlie is the owner of SW Dog Groomers. She started her career in dog grooming in 2016 after adopting her maltese mix, Tilly. Charlie achieved her City and Guilds Level 3 Diploma and went on to work at a number of award winning salons in both Surrey and London. In her time as a dog groomer, she has groomed a wide variety of breeds and honed a skill for both breed standard grooms and things slightly more out of the ordinary.

Charlie specialises in Hand Stripping, after working under the UK's number one Handstrip groomer, and has since then gone on to win many awards in this field. In her last role she worked as a grooming tutor, which has deepened her appreciation for education in the grooming industry. Due to a long background in hospitality, she understands the importance of customer service and ensures clients needs are met in every instance.

• 1st Place in Novice Handstrip at Mastergroom 2018
• 2nd Place in Experienced Handstrip at English Groomers Challenge 2018
• 2nd Place in Open Handstrip at The Grooming Show 2021
• 1st Place in Open Handstrip at The Great British Grooming Show 2022
